Pretty in Pink (and brown) Photo Shoot!

I bought these outfits online for Sarah and Kristen and I just love them. I definately had to do a mini photo shoot. Of course Kristen mostly cooperated as she loves to pose for the camera. Sarah was off doing her own thing (as usual) and it was hard to get her to stop long enough to take some photos. I managed to get a few cute ones, and some I spent a little more time editing in Photoshop.

My School Years Book

I was looking online for a frame that holds the wallet size photos from every year of school, and I saw this book that you could buy to track each year for school.  It was 25 plus dollars for the book.  So I thought, maybe I could make my own and have it printed off as a photo book, for each of my girls.  You know me, once I get an idea in my mind, I have to do it :)  So with using all the Freebies I've gotten with my digital scrapbooking subscribes, I was able to create my own book.  I will print one off for Sarah and Kristen.  Take A look!  I think it turned out pretty good.

Halloween Fun!!!!!

We had a lot of fun this Halloween.  We decorated cookies for daycare friends (and some for us to eat as well).  We also went to Legoland for "Brick or Treating" the weekend before Halloween.  We enjoyed some rides and some adventures and all the great Halloween decorations.  October 30th brought the annual Trunk or Treat with our ward.  The kids enjoyed going around to all the different trunks and getting all the treats.  After they were finished, they were able to pass out candy to other children coming around.  I think they liked this almost better than getting the candy.  Sarah would yell out "hey, I have candy" and search out people to give her candy to hehe.  All in all, a fun time of year!
Yummy cookie treats.  Kristen was very creative and made the "kitty" and "doggy" cookies with all the candy treats.

Mommy's Halloween Sun

This is why kids don't drive until they are 16! Poor daddy :)

Kristen wanted her picture in front of all the decorations at Legoland.

Kristen was not happy that I didn't bring her black pirate pants to Legoland.

The ever sweet and lovely 'Snow White."

Sarah could not leave until she had a picture with the Legoland Halloween Princess (Surprise Surprise hehe)

Snow White casting her lovely spells -watch out!

Snow White kept trying to cast a spell on the pirate to turn Kristen into a "prince."  Kristen was not amused lol

Mommy N Daughters Afternoon Out!

I was off two days from work because my daycare was closed.  So today, after we picked up Sarah from school, we decided to go and get the girls' hair cut at Monkey Dooz.  I was told about this kid salon by a co-worker and Sarah wanted to try it out.  Sarah was in desperate need of a hair cut because combing her hair every morning was becoming a painful chore.  Kristen also decided that she was going to get her hair cut too.  So we got long hair cut shoulder length.  I think the haircuts turned out soooo cute.  We then walked around the Canyon Crest Shopping center and went into different stores and looked at all the cute little items.  The kids especially liked the the little Cottage Store, and the lady there was so nice to them.  We then took some pictures of the girls by the cute little brook/pond there.  We ended the afternoon with a scoop of yummy ice cream, and then off to play at the park.  It was probably one of the best afternoons I have had with the girls in a long was very nice!

Cute  Blue Moustache Kristen!

Tackling Mt. Rubidoux

This is the first time we have gone up Mt. Rubidoux. I have wanted to go for such a long time. What a fun time and great experience. The weather was perfect and the skies were clear and there was very little haze over Riverside area. Riverside and the surrounding areas actually looked more beautiful from up there. The kids enjoyed playing around in the sand on the top. They were even able to make California "snow" angels hehe. Who needs snow right? They also climbed up to the top of the top where the cross is located with Daddy.  Kristen was having a great time and was saying "hi peoples" and "hi dogs" as well as "Happy New Year"  to everyone she saw on the path.  Everyone thought that was pretty cute!  It was a fun adventure as a family.  We have decided to make that a monthly outing together, for as long as we can until the weather gets too hot.  A California Winter is definately one of the good things about living here.

Impromptu Sprinkler Fun

We came home from daycare/work and the neighbor's sprinklers were on and of course spraying partly on our lawn too. The girls decided they wanted to go by the sprinklers and I thought, "Why Not?" So they had a ton of fun playing outside in the front lawn. Kristen got the most wet. Sarah was finding sticks and pretending she was using them to roast marshmallows. It was way too cute watching them enjoy themselves so much.

Old Mc Donald had a farm e i e i o...

...and apparently fries and shakes and a place to play. Confused? Once, I took Sarah and Kristen to Mc Donalds for lunch and they were able to play on the outside play gym. So now, Sarah will occasionally ask if she can go to "Old Mac Donalds" to play and have fries and a shake. Kids do say the cutest things sometimes.
